Fourth grade students had a blast designing and building balloon powered cars.
Students were given the option of creating their car out of cardboard or an empty plastic bottle.
The wheels and axles were built using bottle caps and straws. To make the cars go, the students inflated a balloon, and attached it to their car. The air from inside the balloon propelled the cars forward.
Students tried to design the car that could travel the farthest.
